As you can see the first requirement, "Device MUST include a notification indicator on Screen 0" This means that when we press Home button, we must see the notification indicator. But in current design, we need to press Home, then press up, then we can see the notification, As far as I remember, In ATV8 (KAON BOX), SKB placed the notification indicator in App page (not screen 0) page At that time, I reminded SKB that this design may violate the requirement, but SKB said KAON didn't report this violation. After we submitted to 3PL, the Google TAM said that SKB must move the notification indicator to screen 0 (the first screen when we press Home button) I think we can refer this case. Thanks, Jason |

Hi YK, Please check the following requirement, (HomeRequirement.jpg) Verify that pressing the Home button from an open app goes straight to screen 0. If not, ensure it goes to the app launch point and a second press goes to screen 0. Reproduce Steps 1. Reboot device 2. Go to app page and launch YouTube then play a video 3. Press Home, the screen will return to the App list, a few seconds later, I saw the screen refresh, it kept in app list page This the design can meet the requirement "return to launch point", but this design is different from previous behavior, I remember the previous behavior will return to screen 0 4. then launch Youtube again, the Youtube will show the last video we played 5. Press Home, the screen will return to App list, a few seconds later, the screen return to black automatically (I think the screen return to LiveTV screen, in our side we can not see the live screen) This will violate the requirement, please refer to case_2.mp4 Additional, our QA also saw another case in Step 5. Press Home, the screen will return to App list, a few seconds later, the screen will return to YouTube video automatically. Please refer to case_3.mp4. Hi YK, Our QA reported a focus loss issue, Reproduce Steps 1. Reboot device 2. Go to app page and launch PlayMovie 3. Press Home, the screen will return to the App list, a few seconds later, I saw the screen refresh, it kept in app list page 4. Press Home again, the screen will return to screen 0. 5. Hi YK, Our QA reported a 2nd focus loss issue, Reproduce Steps 1. Reboot device 2. Go to app page, and plug out the ethernet cable 3. Confirm the native UI is displayed 4. Insert the ethernet cable 5. the WebUI app page is displayed, but focus is gone, and menu on the left side is also gone. Additional issue 6. Press home at step 5, we can see the screen 0, but the left side menu has fewer options and the app list entry is gone Thanks, Jason |

Hi YK, There is an SmokeTest failure related to #c14302. Verify switching from Cast to other use-cases: - Press Home while Casting, and ensure launcher opens and Casting stops. Hi YK, Our QA has finished 15.541.6 CTS: 10 failures -> I've Confirmed these failures has been resolved in 15.541.8 GSI/STS/VTS/GTS/TVTS/CTS-V: Done BTS: 1 PushAgentService warning. our 3PL said there is a MBA key word, we can ignore it. we want refer Inteks' 3PL opinion. SmokeTest: 1. Settings icon is black in native UI (BFXBTF-527) 2. Notification issue (BFXBTF-528) 3. Homekey behavior (BFXBTF-531) 4. 1st focus loss issue (BFXBTF-529) 5. 2nd focus loss issue (BFXBTF-530) 6. App soring, Our QA said that they remember 15.537.56 support apps sorting in WebUI. They also said they see the icon position change in 15.541.6 It looks like current WebUI support app sorting, but they don't know how to trigger it correctly. Please check it. 7. Verify switching from Cast to other use-cases: - Press Home while Casting, and ensure launcher opens and Casting stops. The Home button behaves strangely, just like item 3. Hi YK, Based on previous experience, VPN: Operation is slow in Home / Can see the icon (Is operation improved in 15.541.16 ? or is the root cause related to CSSIP ?) Taiwan network: Operation is smooth in Home / Can not see the icon. In current situation, I still can asked our QA/3PL test HomeUI with VPN. Hi Jason The UI541 VCS FW' BMT schedule has been change until Friday this week because there are still major issues ( it was decided at this morning's meeting ) I'm not sure if the finial FW will be built this Thursday(Nov/16th) or Friday(Nov/17th Anyway , the VCS(UI541)'s field deploy schedule is next wed(Nov/22nd) ( fixed ) So Fail should not occur during Google self-test with the final FW. Please review whether there is any problem with Google self-test with the final FW that is currently built. (there will also be a build today.) Hi Jason There is no such thing. It's about doing Google tests as much as possible. Please review the test items that can be checked soon (ex BTS) And the CTS / CTS-on-GSI that take a long time during the xTS test, please proceed continuously without starting again whenever the FW is released. Or if you think there's a better way to do it, you can go ahead And other manufacturers are also testing, so the items that fail will be shared with each other. Thank you YK.Jung |
